About the Health Check-up

Measures anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), which is produced in the ovaries. AMH reflects ovarian reserve and is often used as a marker for fertility and menopause.

Is the check correct for me?

This test is an excellent option if you want insight into your egg reserve and fertility. It can be relevant for family planning, evaluation of irregular cycles, or suspicion of early menopause. The test can also be used in connection with IVF treatment.

What is being tested

P-Antimüllerian hormone (AMH).

Add-ons
Preparation for the test
The Czech Republic's shortcomings

AMH indicates the quantity of eggs, but not their quality. The results can be affected by PCO/PCOS and should always be interpreted in conjunction with age, cycle, and other hormone tests.

Where can I get tested?

Blood samples can be taken at public hospitals with which we have agreements.
Currently, these are Herlev & Gentofte Hospital and all of Region Southern Denmark, Region Central Denmark, and Region Northern Denmark.
If you want to have free T3 measured, this can only be done in Region Southern Denmark, Region Central Denmark, and Region Northern Denmark.
Therefore, not at Herlev & Gentofte Hospital.
