Lp(a) is an inherited type of blood fat that around one in five Danes has at elevated levels—often without knowing it. Cardiologists now recommend that all adults have it checked at least once. Because the level is determined by your genes and generally does not change throughout your life, measuring it once is enough. That is why Lp(a) is included in your first health check.

What happens after I place an order?
You will receive an email with a link to our questionnaire, where we collect, among other things, your CPR number (required to order the blood test) and relevant health information. Your order will be reviewed by a healthcare professional, and once it has been approved, you will receive a link to book an appointment for the blood test. Afterwards, you will receive an easy-to-understand review of your answers.
Should I fast before the blood test?
Yes, for Health Check 360™, you must fast for 8–12 hours before the test for the most reliable results. We will send you a more detailed preparation guide before your test.
Where is the blood sample taken?
The blood sample is taken at the public hospitals and regional outpatient clinics we collaborate with—including Herlev & Gentofte Hospital and outpatient clinics in the Region of Southern Denmark, Central Denmark Region, and North Denmark Region. You choose a location near you when you book.
Where and how quickly will I receive my answers?
Most blood test results are ready within a few business days—some tests may take up to a couple of weeks. You will receive your review as a message in our system, where we compare the results with the information you provided in the questionnaire. You can always view the blood test results themselves on sundhed.dk.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. You book directly online yourself—no referral and no waiting time.
Can’t I just go to my own doctor and get it for free?
Sometimes, yes—but often only when there is a specific suspicion of illness, so many people are turned away if they simply want a preventive check-up. The scope also varies considerably with your general practitioner and typically focuses on individual values. With Health Check 360, you get a complete overview of 50+ markers all at once.
Do you have a doctor affiliated with you?
Yes. Celto has a responsible physician with overall professional responsibility for our health checks. Our employees are trained by the physician to review and communicate your answers in a professionally responsible manner and consult with the physician on specific cases on an ongoing basis.
What is Lp(a), and why do you only measure it in the first year?
Lp(a) is an inherited type of blood fat that increases the risk of cardiovascular disease—about one in five people has elevated levels. Your level is largely determined by your genes and does not change throughout your life, so measuring it once is sufficient. That is why Lp(a) is included in your first checkup.
What should I do if there is something abnormal in my results?
For minor deviations, we recommend repeating the measurement to see whether the result persists. If the deviation continues, or is considered to pose a greater risk, we recommend contacting your own doctor for further assessment. If there is anything you should discuss with your doctor, we will always mention it in your review.
What is the difference between a one-time purchase and a subscription?
With a subscription, you get your health check every year—so you can track your progress over time. You can cancel at any time.
Is it safe to share my CPR number and health information?
Yes. We treat your information confidentially and in accordance with the GDPR and healthcare legislation. Only you and Celtos employees can see your answers to the questionnaire and our review.
What if I regret my purchase?
