The test is recommended to be taken in the morning, as TSH levels can vary throughout the day.

TSH, T3, and T4 can vary throughout the day and are affected by illness, medication, or pregnancy. A single measurement can therefore not always stand alone when a thyroid disorder is suspected.

Hvis man vil have målt fri T3 kan det kun gøres i Region Syddanmark, Region Midtjylland og Region Nordjylland.
Altså ikke på Herlev & Gentofte Hospital.
