About the health check

Measures important liver and kidney markers, including liver enzymes, bilirubin, coagulation factors, creatinine, and eGFR. The test can reveal early signs of liver damage, kidney disease, or problems with the body's ability to excrete waste products.

Test preparation

No fasting required.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before sampling.

Avoid strenuous exercise immediately before, as it can affect liver values.
The Czech Republic's shortcomings

Slightly elevated liver or kidney values can be transient and do not necessarily indicate chronic disease. The test provides a snapshot and should often be repeated if results are inconclusive.
Where can I take the test?

Blood tests can be taken at public hospitals with which we have agreements.
Currently, these are Herlev & Gentofte Hospital and the entire Region of Southern Denmark, Central Denmark Region, and North Denmark Region.
If you want to have free T3 measured, this can only be done in the Region of Southern Denmark, Central Denmark Region, and North Denmark Region.
Thus, not at Herlev & Gentofte Hospital.
