Lp(a) is an inherited type of blood fat, which about one in five Danes have elevated – often without knowing it. Cardiologists now recommend that all adults have it checked at least once. Because the level is determined by your genes and hardly changes throughout life, it is sufficient to measure it once. Therefore, Lp(a) is included in your first health check.

What happens after I order?
You will receive an email with a link to our questionnaire, where we will collect your CPR number (necessary to order the blood test) and relevant health information. Your order will be reviewed by a healthcare professional, and once approved, you will receive a link to book an appointment for the blood test. Afterwards, you will receive an easy-to-understand review of your results.
Do I need to fast before the blood test?
Yes, for Health Check 360™ you need to fast for 8-12 hours before the test for the most reliable results. We will send you a more detailed guide on preparation before your test.
Where is the blood test taken?
The blood sample is taken at the public hospitals and regional outpatient clinics we collaborate with – including Herlev & Gentofte Hospital and outpatient clinics in the Region of Southern Denmark, Central Jutland, and North Jutland. You choose a location near you when you book.
Where and how quickly will I receive my answers?
Most blood test results are ready within a few working days - some analyses can take up to a couple of weeks. You will receive your review as a message in our system, where we compare the results with the information you provided in the questionnaire. You can always view the blood tests themselves on sundhed.dk.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. You order directly online - no referral and no waiting list.
Can't I just go to my own doctor and get it for free?
Sometimes, yes – but often only if there is a specific suspicion of illness, so many are rejected if they merely want a preventative check-up. The scope also varies greatly with a general practitioner and typically focuses on individual values. With Health Check 360, you get a complete overview of 50+ markers all at once.
Do you have a doctor affiliated with you?
Yes. Celto has a responsible doctor who has overall professional responsibility for our health checks. Our employees are trained by the doctor to review and communicate your answers in a professionally sound manner and continuously consult with the doctor on specific cases.
What is Lp(a), and why do you only measure it in the first year?
Lp(a) is an inherited type of blood fat that increases the risk of cardiovascular disease – about one in five people have elevated levels. Your level is largely determined by your genes and does not change throughout life, so measuring it once is sufficient. This is why Lp(a) is included in your first check-up.
What do I do if there's something abnormal in my answers?
In the event of minor deviations, we recommend re-measurement to see if the result persists. If the deviation continues, or if it is assessed to pose a greater risk, we recommend that you contact your own doctor for further investigation. If there is anything you should discuss with your doctor, we will always mention it in your review.
What is the difference between a one-time purchase and a subscription?
With a subscription, you get your health check every year – so you can track your progress over time. You can cancel at any time.
Is it safe to share my CPR number and health information?
Yes. We treat your information confidentially and in accordance with GDPR and healthcare legislation. Only you and Celtos employees can see your answers in the questionnaire and our review.
What if I regret my purchase?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, as long as the blood test has not yet been ordered.
